A hemp T-shirt is not always cotton-free

For someone looking beyond cotton, the useful question is often more specific than “Does this brand use hemp?” It is “What is this particular garment made of?” Jungmaven provides a useful example because its published T-shirt comparison includes both hemp-only fabric and cotton blends.

Jungmaven describes the Mana 10 as a short-sleeved crewneck made with 10 oz hemp jersey and says it is cut and sewn in Los Angeles. These are the brand's published specifications, not independently verified manufacturing findings. The comparison appears on its Mana 10 product page.
All three products sit within a hemp clothing range, but only one of these listed fabric compositions excludes cotton. That does not establish the composition of every label, seam thread or other component. If complete garment composition matters to you, ask about those separately.
What a retailer should confirm
A useful buying brief names the exact style, required composition and intended customer rather than requesting “hemp clothing” generally. Before ordering stock, ask for current wholesale eligibility, available sizes and colors, minimum order, replenishment lead time and the care instructions supplied with the garment. None of those commercial terms should be inferred from a retail product listing.
Finished clothing and upstream sourcing
For someone developing their own range, a finished garment can illustrate a material application. It does not identify a source of raw fiber or fabric.
